It is exactly 29 more days until the back-to-school season for us. We are blessed to have a longer summer vacation. I needed this long break for sure and it allowed us to enjoy our summer activities. So far, we have camped twice already and had several day trips to the beach as well as the mountains. We truly made new memories with friends and our family. I will tell you though (n shame), my mind is not quite ready for back-to-school yet. The feeling is very similar to not being able to move on after the Christmas season. You know, that behavior where you just do not want o put the Christmas decor just yet. Normally, I shop ahead of time (uniforms, school supplies, socks, etc.). I am not proud of my procrastination BUT I know I will get it done.
One of the things that I also normally do is to plan my breakfast ahead of time. School mornings can be quite stressful. In our rush to get out the door, we sometimes eat unhealthily, opting for a quick processed breakfast or will just rush through the morning creating a stressful morning. I don't like both of those. This does not mean that I do not at all serve my family a quick breakfast meal. I do on some occasions. I serve oatmeal packs, granola bars, and even pop tarts. I just serve it in moderation. Just like the school supplies shopping, back-to-school breakfast ideas meal planning is also on top of my list. Here are 35 mouthwatering breakfast ideas to serve our kiddos.
