Here's another easy and frugal crockpot recipe. This recipe only has a few ingredients: a package of frozen green beans, chicken stock, dried thyme, 1 kielbasa sausage, and russet potatoes. Crockpot meals are great for busy families. You do not have to spend money on fast food chains. However, you do need to plan your meals and make a list. Ingredients:
1 13oz package of Turkey Kielbasa
1 12 oz frozen green beans
2 large russet potatoes, chopped into large chunks
1 1/2 cups of chicken stock or broth, See recipe: Gut-Healing Chicken Stock
1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in your crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hrs or high for 4 hrs.
Easy, peasy. Dinner is ready right when we come home from a super busy day.
