Crockpot Kielbasa, Beans, and Potatoes - A Bountiful Love

Crockpot Kielbasa, Beans, and Potatoes

Here's another easy and frugal crockpot recipe. This recipe only has a few ingredients: a package of frozen green beans, chicken stock, dried thyme, 1 kielbasa sausage, and russet potatoes. If you have been following me for a while, you know how much I encourage you to use homemade chicken stock. You can grab the recipe for the chicken stock HERE

Crockpot meals are great for busy families. You do not have to spend money on fast food chains. However, you do need to plan your meals and make a list. Crockpot meals had saved me money,  energy, and sanity. While you are here, visit my other crockpot recipes. Let me know what is your favorite crockpot meal. I would love to try it out too!

1 13oz package of Turkey Kielbasa

1 12 oz frozen green beans

2 large russet potatoes, chopped into large chunks

1 1/2 cups of chicken stock or broth, See recipe: Gut-Healing Chicken Stock

1 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all the ingredients in your crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hrs or high for 4 hrs.

Easy, peasy. Dinner is ready right when we come home from a super busy day.

I served this easy dinner idea with brown rice. Other side ideas are white rice, couscous, or dinner rolls. I also have a post for perfectly cooking couscous that is fluffy and tasty. Grab the recipe here: The Simplest Way to Cook Couscous.
