12 Days of yummies and treats : Cake Mix Cookies

Day 6 of our Christmas yummies and treats ! I love stocking up our pantry during the holidays , all the baking goodies goes on sale. Cake mixes would sell for about .75 cents to .99 cents. That's a good deal and it is always nice to have the mixes when you just don't feel like baking from scratch. There are a lot of cake mix recipes you can find online..Betty Crocker's website for instance. You can just never go wrong using a box of cake mix.



Ingredients:

1 box of yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter , melted
1 egg
1 cup of m&ms

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat cake mix , butter and egg together.


Dough will be very creamy.


Fold in M&M candies.


Using a scooper or just a spoon, scoop about 1 inch ball into a prepared lined cookie sheet.


Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool.

Isn't that easy and delicious? They are very soft and chewy! 

For variations : You can use heath bar , snickers or Reese's miniature candies.
