90 Minutes In Heaven will be in theaters everywhere September 11th. This is an incredible
true story of a family that overcame life’s biggest obstacles.
I have always been fascinated and inspired with stories about heaven. I have read a handful of books about heaven and watched some movies too. It is not because I needed reassurance for my faith, but it is an anchor of hope that inspite of all the everyday stress and craziness in today's world..there is that place waiting for us. Our true home..
The book, 90 minutes in heaven is a must read . whether you believe in Heaven or not --but if you would love to know more about God, his love and how he uses people as an instrument. His experience in Heaven alone, will make you happy. Don Piper can not even find the right or exact words to describe his time in Heaven-- because it is just that beautiful , peaceful and joyous.
Pastor Don Piper died January 18, 1989 when a
semi-tractor truck crushed his car. Declared dead by the first rescue
workers to arrive on the scene, Don's body lay under a tarp for the next
90 minutes. Don's soul, meanwhile, was experiencing
love, joy, and life like he'd never known before. Don was in Heaven.
When another pastor's prayers helped bring Don back to
life, he became a living miracle! Yet this is one miracle Don wished
never happened. Heaven's bliss was replaced by excruciating pain and
emotional turmoil. With the support and prayers
of his beloved Eva, their three kids, and friends near and far, Don
clings to his faith in God and fights to regain a semblance of his
previous life. The Piper family's incredible true story of perseverance
and overcoming the challenges of life - and death
- will bring hope and encouragement to all who see it.

Oh I had the opportunity to see the movie at the ICRS where they previewed Oruro to even finishing the movie. Don Piper was there front row sobbing as he experienced all those emotions yet again. Powerful. Moving. Convicting. And a must see. For all.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the trailer yesterday and I'm so excited to see it.
