I love movies about second chances. This new movie from Pureflix, Heaven Sent doesn't just feature second chances on love and marriage but also forgiveness, trusting God, friendship, and being brave. I also enjoyed all the different angles of friendship in this movie. 

Heaven Sent is full of humor, a romantic comedy about finding love again later in life and rediscovering joy after loss. Sometimes the fear of getting hurt can hinder us from taking chances. While this movie is about rekindling romance at a later stage of life, there's so much more to this movie. There's the lesson of respect for privacy, honesty, being supportive of your friends, and trusting God in every aspect of our lives.
Pastor Patrick lost his wife 5 years ago. His church members and friends try to play matchmaker, but he resists. Pastor Patrick is lost and finds his way into Elise’s shop, Moxie, their first interaction is less than ideal. It’s revealed that Elise was in a famous band and disappeared, choosing to raise her grandson instead of fame. Elise overhears a conversation with Derek, thinking he’s talking about her and his feelings that he is forever under her thumb.
