Vegan Bouillon and Ranch Dressing Mix Recipe - A Bountiful Love

Vegan Bouillon and Ranch Dressing Mix Recipe

I recently started sharing $5 meal recipes and pointers to keep meals affordable and healthy. Some recipes will cost you more than $5 BUT those meals will feed a family of four twice. There are recipes that we have for dinner and the left-overs are for lunch or my husband will pack it for work the next day. So, in reality, your cost is lower than what you spent per meal.

Eating out will definitely consume most of your budget. The first thing to remember if you want to save money in order to pay your debts or reach a saving goal is to stop (or limit) dining out (or take-outs). Homecook meals, while it's not always exciting are healthier for you and way more frugal. Making my own mixes and seasonings are helpful with stretching our budget even if you have to start from scratch (meaning if you do not have all the base spices to make it). The yield of one big batch of homemade seasoning versus a store-bought packet of sesoning will save you money in the long run and it is healthier for you.

I like making my seasonings in big batches that fill up my mason jar so I do not have to make it when I need it. Just like the recipe I am sharing with you below, this is not a one-time use seasoning recipe rather a bigger batch. Make sure to store your seasoning in an airtight jar in a cool and dry place.  Below, you can download the recipe via Google drive and a direct Acrobat program. You can also just sav the graphic I shared below. If you are having trouble printing or downloading them, feel free to comment and I will be glad to email you the direct attachment.

Here's a nice set of spice jar from Amazon. It is $20 for 12 pieces with labels, chalkboard pen, and a funnel! I think this is a very good deal. If you want to check it out or to order, click here (Amazon link)
