"Train up a child in a way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it"

The verse above is one of my favorite children Bible verse. It is a good parenting reminder. I firmly believe that in raising kids, all the important work starts at home. It starts at a very young age. Research states that the first five years of a child is crucial in shaping their brain, growth, happiness, and future. The first five years can positively ( and negatively) impact a child's learning abilities as well as their social and emotional skills. 

Reading, playing, and interaction (hmmm..put the phones down) are fundamental. Reading and playing foster their love of reading and skills such as fine motor skills. There is no perfect time to read to our young ones at home and there is no such thing as "it is too soon to introduce" the word of God and to talk to Him in prayers.

This beautifully illustrated board book comes with simple prayers that teach kids about gratefulness, trusting and pricing Him. As for me, there is no greater gift than teaching our little children the comfort and power of prayer. The book is suggested to be for 8 to 12 years old. But I think younger kids, toddlers, and even babies can learn from this book too! It is a perfect book before bedtime or just bonding time.

Ages: 8-12 (BUT, this is also perfect for younger kids in my opinion).
