Lazy Cookie Bars - A Bountiful Love

Lazy Cookie Bars

If you need to take a dessert to a party or just craving for something sweet, these lazy cake mix cookie bars are the best! While this recipe is not at all healthy, this is perfect for when you do not have a lot of time. I love making these cookie bars when I am doing a pantry cooking week. If you are not familiar with pantry cooking, it is a week or month (totally up to you) when you utilize what is inside your pantry (or fridge). Sometimes, we forget what we have, and before we know it our food stocks have already expired.

 Ingredients:

1 box of yellow cake mix

2 eggs, beaten

1 stick butter, melted

2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl.  The batter will be very thick,

Spray a 9x13 baking pan and pour the thick batter.

Spread evenly and bake for 20 minutes. Let it cool before cutting into squares.

Quick and easy dessert!
