Easy and Freezer-Friendly Pizza Dough - A Bountiful Love

Easy and Freezer-Friendly Pizza Dough

Here's a simple frugal tip if your family loves pizza. Make your own pizza dough at home! You only need a few ingredients and you can make the best homemade pizza in the comfort of your own home.

Ingredients:

4 cups flour

1 1/2 cups warm water

2 packets of active dry yeast

2 tsp sugar

1/4 cup olive oil, extra 2 tsp or more for the bowl

1 tsp salt

Directions:

Make sure that you spoon and level the flour when measuring. Pour the water into s large bowl and sprinkle the yeast. Let it stand until foamy. Whisk in the sugar, oil, and salt. Add in the flour and stir until a dough forms. It will be sticky.

Lightly brush another bowl with a little olive oil. Place the dough inside and drizzle a little oil on top. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm and draft-free place until it doubles in size.

Sprinkle flour on your work surface. Knead the dough forming a round shape dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

You can separate the dough into two medium size pizzas, divide it into 4 equal parts for individual pizzas, or use the entire dough for a large pizza.
