All of my friends have seen the Jesus Revolution movie. In fact, we were about two weeks late from when it was released in theaters before we had the chance to enjoy the movie. I am so glad we did! We saw the movie as a family. if you are wondering about the ages of my kids, they are 11 and 13 years old. You are probably wondering if they enjoyed the movie..they absolutely did! My 11 year who easily gets bored in movie theaters said "I love the movie so much".
From the title Jesus Revolution, you feel as if it is only geared toward Christians. Please do not let this thought stay with you. It is a great film! Jesus' Revolution was based on a true story, very informative but most of all it will stir your heart. What we also enjoyed about this movie is that it is very entertaining, there are a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. Yep, even my preteen and teenager found it funny too. If you missed the movie in theaters, JESUS REVOLUTION will be coming out on digital, DVD, and Bluray this month! The Blu-ray comes with exclusive behind-the-scenes content about the making of the JESUS REVOLUTION. Who’s excited to bring home the revolution?

In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the
right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan
Roumie), a charismatic hippie street preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith
(Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed
a JESUS REVOLUTION.
One of my favorite scenes was when Pastor Chuck Smith washed the feet of all the hippies entering the church as he received a complaint from a member of the congregation about their carpet cleanliness concern. How wrong is that? People are more concerned with the appearance of the church than bringing people to Christ. I am positive that just like me, you will also wonder how can you make a positive and Christ-like impact in your community?
