Speaking of easy meals, here's a collection of easy and budget friendly meals and treats. One of my all time favorite cookbook is the $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook. Just like her, I can't seem to make myself cook recipes that is not between $5- $10 . Is it really possible to cook $5 /meal for a family of four? Yes, I did it and a lot of family had done it too. And it is not crappy and junk foods. We started following a strict budget way back in 2008. That pesky recession year (s).
Thank goodness that we are not where we were during that recession period, It was actually a blessing in disguise ! I learned a lot of ways to save money most esp on our grocery budget and our meals. We learned how to stretch our budget. We learned to appreciate the things that some take for granted. We learned the value of family. We learned to be faithful and to trust God that He will always provide...and He did in many ways.
I am at A Little R & R , sharing a quick , easy and budget meal. This is for sure a crowd pleaser!
Would you like to serve a meal that for sure would not have any left overs?
