When Lucy turned 4 yrs old and got a subscription magazine gifts, I was excited for her! She loves anything look and find, colorful illustrations, workbooks and coloring page. I wondered back then if there is a Christian magazine that does all of these but enforces our faith, values and morals.

I am blessed to be able to get my hands on reviewing a Christian magazine that totally have what I am looking for.

Shine Brightly and Sparkle magazine are both published by GEMS Girl's club - an international, non-denominational club program that equips Christian women to mentor girls. Gems Girl's Club offers girls a perfect place to learn and grow as they grow up to be who God created them to be.





Shine Brightly, is geared towards girl's in Grade 4-8. Perfect magazine to motivate, inspire and equip girls to know Christ and be Christ's activist. Nowadays, you are not in if your child is not connected in technology. There is nothing wrong with that, don't get me wrong. As a momma of two girls, I want to be able to have another resource that can motivate them and light the desire in their hearts to walk with Jesus.



Every page of the Shine Brightly magazine is packed with inspiration. Every publication focuses on a positive attitude.  The January issue focuses on cellphones. The February issue focuses on responsibility and March issue  focuses on being yourself. It has a page that has a short story that reinforces the focus topic of the month . The short story would be congruent to a bible story or ends with a bible passage. The magazine is also educational and offers an advice corner too! There is a craft and project page too.



Sparkle magazine, is geared towards girl's in Grade 1 to 3. Their mission is to get the girls to know God and how He works in their lives. Just like the Shine Brightly magazine, it also has short stories that is congruent to the bible stories. It teaches bible verse. It is also educational! It has a lot of fun and creative craft/ projects too.  We did the scavenger hunt activity and Lucy enjoyed it!



Shine Brightly and Sparkle magazine would be a great gift subscription. It is packed with moral values and bible lesson that parents would want to equip their child with.
