Esther: Belle of Patience - Review + Giveaway - A Bountiful Love

Esther: Belle of Patience - Review + Giveaway

Summer vacation is approaching really fast in most households.  We will be officially on school break in two weeks. I swear it is such a bittersweet moment for this momma. I am excited to what the first grade journey will hold for our eldest daughter and at the same time, I'm like "whoa..you are growing up..no longer a kindergarten." I'm sure most of you mommies can relate to me.

I know most parents already have a list of boredom busters and a bucket list of summer fun to do's. Maybe one of those will be a trip to the most happiest place on earth! We have two girls and they do know all the magical stories of Disney princesses.  We have those princesses all over our house. Plates, backpacks, bedroom linens, place mats, toys and clothing! We mostly know all the men heroes of the Bible. Starting from Noah , Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and so on from the book of Genesis. I think it is time to introduce the unsung lady heroes of the Bible. The Belles of the Bible.

I was so thrilled to be ale to review this series from Bible Belles. The goal of this series is to teach young girls about inner beauty using prominent Bible characters. Esther: The Belle of Patience is the second book from the series. The first one is Hannah : The Belle of Prayer. The story is about the adventures of Rooney Cruz. The story was presented in such a way that any girl in school can relate to. The usual life experiences in school with their peers and their environment.

There is this show that my girls love to watch, it is one of the newest princesses show. Where the young princess experiences different adventures and life lessons but along the way meets some of the famous princesses, It is entwined in the show. That TV show reminded me of this book HOWEVER, the significant difference is that this book is based on real life story. The story of Esther! This lil angel is such an amazing bonus in the book , Her name is Mari.

She takes Rooney into the adventure--the story of Esther in this case. She made a window appear and off they went to see Esther and her story. Two important values are relayed in this story. Power of prayer and patience.  I wish that every girl will own a copy of this book. What a better way to empower our young girls.
