Movie Review: Sound of Freedom

If you personally know me, you know that I had always supported organizations that fight against human trafficking. I have always supported organizations that fight for children. The Sound of Freedom Movie moved me and my husband so much. Honestly, I could not sleep that night. I know that fear is not from the Lord and that's how the enemy defeats us. But I can't help but fear for my own children. However, I am aware that fear does not move us into action. Courage along with faith does. This film is about how Tim Ballard, a former government agent turned vigilante embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hundreds of children from sex traffickers. His purpose kept him going and his faith, courage, and braveness enabled him to save hundreds of children.

He found his purpose. The purpose is very dangerous, to begin with, but fulfilling. I think fulfilling is such an understatement. How many of us have a purpose in life or know our own purpose? Sometimes, our purpose and our calling will drive us way out of our comfort zone. Sometimes, it can cost us. Sometimes, you will not receive the support you needed. That is where faith and hope come in. Trusting God in every aspect of your calling. I am so inspired not only by the life of Tim Ballard but as well as the support he got from his wife. Imagine leaving your own children at home but saving hundreds of children in return. The Sound of Freedom will give you the right perspective (and reflections) in many areas of your life.

Everyone needs to see this film. You can make a difference! Watch this film with your older children, friends, family, or church members. Join the 2 Million For 2 Million. Why? SYNOPSIS:

After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.
