Easy Waffle Biscuit Pizza - A Bountiful Love

Easy Waffle Biscuit Pizza

This is by far the easiest recipe that you can make in my opinion. It's a good school lunch or recess option too. We went on a trip a few days ago and I made a bunch of these for our lunch. It is quick and easy, perfect for road trip food. If you follow me on Instagram, I am sure that you already know how much I love using my iron waffle maker. It is that small appliance that can do more than just a regular waffle! I have made cinnamon waffles using Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, grilled cheese waffles, and left-over mashed potato waffles.

All you need to make this easy and delicious waffle biscuit pizza are:

a roll of biscuit dough (any brand)- if using Grands, cut in half

pepperoni, I used turkey pepperoni

shredded cheese

pizza sauce or pasta sauce

Preheat your waffle maker. Cut your biscuit dough in half and flatten them a little bit. Place the cheese, pepperoni, and a teaspoon of the sauce in the middle of the dough. Place the other half of the dough on top of the other. Make sure that you spray your waffle maker with non-stick spray.

Cook the biscuit on the waffle maker. Cook until a little crispy. Mine took about 4 minutes. Just make sure that the dough is not raw.

How easy is this? My girls totally love this easy pizza recipe. In fact, my 10 years old learned how to make this by herself. If you have leftover pizza sauce, use it as a dipping sauce.

You can also use crumbled bacon or ham instead of pepperoni.

Don't forget to pin and share!
