I love Santa Claus of course and we do the whole Santa thing here. Gift from Santa, cookies for Santa. Our girls are young. I don't mind them believing in Santa. Someday we will able to explain the true story of Santa Claus and that we are all a Santa Claus. But one thing we make sure to tell them is who we are truly celebrating.
Owlegories is such a great tool for kids to learn about God, His never ending grace. Speaking of grace, I love that Owlegories ( The Gift| The Star) started with a Bible passage on Grace. It is the passage that I over and over again repeated to myself as a new Christian. When I was a new Christian, I accepted Jesus as my Savior but never understood the amazing and wonderful gift of grace. Every single scene is packed full of values and teaching moments. It is relayed in such a way that little kids will comprehend. The animations are all so cute! The songs are very catchy too.
It is with humor too! My girls did laugh out loud many times. It reminds kids ( and adults ) what true giving is. God loved us so much , He gave us His only Son to be our Savior. Now, who can top that greatest gift of all. It would be really nice if Owlegories would be on mainstream T.V to reach more kids. It should be a part of your must watch for kids. A great tool for parents who desire to teach the word of God.
