8 Clean Eating and 21 Day Fix Seasonings ( Free Printable)

Clean eating. Just saying it makes it sound so impossible and daunting. It also has the notion of boring and tasteless.  There are ways to add extra flavor and yumminess to your food. You can satisfy your palette and be healthy too.

Most stores bought seasonings contains God knows what extra ingredients to preserve it. Speaking of scary extra ingredients, I just watched the news that said Parmesan cheese could contain some wood. Some Parmesan grated cheeses sold as "100 percent Parmesan" contain no Parmesan at all - but they do contain a fair chunk of harmless wood pulp ( READ HERE)

There are a lot of spices and seasonings that you can make at home. It is very frugal too! Make them in batches! Make a double or triple batch of the seasoning and store in an airtight jar.

Right after doing a round of Insanity work out, we originally planned on following it up with either Insanity Max:30 or Focus T25. I was a part of a Facebook group that shares clean eating recipes and motivation. It is also a group that works out on 21 Day Fix. So, I was really inspired and purchased the workout. Hubs and I love it! It was only half an hour. Everybody have half an hour right?  I know I promised to share our Insanity journey and how we lost weight..believe me I am still working on it! I want to share not just the results but also resources to help my readers. It's been almost a year since we started our journey with Beachbody and we are completely in love with their workouts. I am excited to purchase the 22 Minute Hard Corps next!

Spice up your lean protein, rice, veggies, grains and add flavor to your clean eating recipes. The 3  21 Day FIX seasoning mixes are part of the 21 Day Fix and 3 Day Fix Extreme meal plan and exercise program.



All Purpose Seasoning
3 tbsp ground black pepper
3tbsp ground cumin
1½ tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground sumac
¼ tsp kosher salt

Cajun Mix
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2½ tsp paprika
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1¼ tsp dried oregano
1¼ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp red pepper flakes (skip if you only want the mix to be mild)

Creole Seasoning
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp. dried oregano
2 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp white pepper
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
5 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp salt

Dry Onion Soup Mix
2/3 cup of dried, minced onions
3 tsp of parsley
2 tsp of onion powder
2 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of celery salt
1 tsp of sea salt
1 tsp of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Fajita Seasoning
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)

Guacamole Seasoning*makes enough to use for 2 avocados.
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried minced onion or onion powder
Pinch of cumin, to taste
1/4 tsp dried cilantro
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp salt


2 tbsp onion powder or dried onion
2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp celery seed
** This makes a batch of sloppy joe (1 packet).

Taco Seasoning
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp crushed pepper
* 2-3 tbsp per pound of meat.


21 Day Fix All-Purpose Seasoning
  • 4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp sea salt
21 Day Fix Mediterranean Seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp dried parsley, crushed
  • 4 tsp dried onion flakes
  • 2 tsp dried basil, crushed
  • 1 tsp ground oregano
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
 21 Day Fix Southwestern Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
