The men's devotional Bible in the English Standard Version is a great resource. I like this particular version because it is so easy to understand and in turn follow. Each book of the Bible has a great introduction to give an explanation of that particular book or chapter,I find that helpful, though do keep in mind it is a person's opinion or explanation of that book or chapter and your opinion may be different and that's ok. It gets you thinking and that I feel is the key. The key theme portion of each book is great for questions, concerns short comings or struggles you may be having as a man, brother, husband or father,etc..
Accompany this book with a journal or notebook to streamline your particular questions or concerns to quickly find certain answers you seek or advice you wish to share. For me this is very helpful. The end of book or chapter explanation is a great way to understand that book as explained by the authors and helps in finding the answers you may be seeking for that period of your life or someone else. This is a fantastic resource to add to your library of Biblical knowledge or a great choice for your first Devotional Bible For Men.
I would like to thank Crossway for the opportunity to not only review this Men's Devotional Bible, but also to blog about it for my wife . As I said before this is a wonderful addition or beginning to any Biblical library. This Devotional Bible is well written, informative and thoughtfully laid out for ease of use.
