 We  started by saying the letter out loud. Teaching her the phonetic sound of the letter.  We used kidz delight light n sound phonics

We did a spot the k's activity. ( Part of the alphabet lap book that we used above.. Get it here for free @

We practiced our counting using kite counting..



You only need some ribbons and construction paper for the kites , Clothespin for the counting pieces. I asked her to place clothespin on each kite corresponding to the number written. It not only teaches her the counting process but also enhances her fine motor skills.

    I'll have to keep some of these in mind when I start homeschooling my youngest!
